EH Self Contained and Power Units
The AWT Electro-hydraulic SC-2X™ – remotely operable valve controller is designed to provide automated control of line-break, ESD, or blow-down valves via line pilot, rate of drop or electrical failsafe signal. Available in solar powered models, the pressure pilot operated fail-safe operates even without battery power, consuming little or no power from the control modules to maintain or re-seat the valve (12 or 24 volt DC). The SC-2X™ maintains valve position with no operator intervention. As a self-contained hydraulic emergency shutdown system it preserves local control with the added feature of reliable remote valve operation, and automatic re-seating, overcoming the hydraulic creep-down of the valve caused by the spring return actuator.

Electro-Hydraulic Self-Contained and Power Unit Selection
The AWT EH Power Unit (EHPU) and Electro-Hydraulic SC1 and SC2 actuators are available with the applications specific controls and specifications, and meet various certifications from CSA/UL/NEMA/ATEX, and can be field certified by AWT under DEMKO or LabTEK. Many designs are built to Marine DNV standards and used in NACE rated corrosive atmospheres, extreme low or high temperatures.
